John Kenny has worked for me on two occasions in 2016 at our holiday cottage in Brancaster, Norfolk. Once for 12 days and once for a long weekend. He is a talented cook, with excellent organisational skills and good menu ideas.

On both occasions we were never less than 10 people in the house for breakfast, lunch & dinner (usually 16+ for lunch and dinner!) and he coped magnificently with the ever changing numbers. He is a delight to have in the kitchen and we would definitely employ him again.

John first came to me in a moment of crisis when I was let down by someone else at the last minute. I needn’t have worried, he arrived for two days, set to work, was very calm and professional and I was able to relax with a houseful of 16 people knowing everything was under control!

In addition to being an excellent chef, John quickly understood how we like things cooked, presented etc and as a result we have invited him back to cook for us since.
